マグロのしぐれ煮を食べたいと思えども、

マグロはあまりにも高価。

せめて良質の猪肉をつかって、似て非なるしぐれ煮とするか(^^♪。

In Japan, shigure-ni made with tuna is very popular.

Here in the mountains,

however, we make our own version using wild boar — often called “the whale of the mountains.
