桃の食べごろ

桃は熟するのを待っていると鳥やハクビシンが喜ぶだけです。

熟す前の桃はカミさんも喜びません。

食べるのはけんジイさんだけです(^^♪。

If I don’t eat my peaches before the masked palm civets come,

I may never get to taste my own peaches.

So I’m eating them while they’re still firm.
