イペ　今年も咲きした

現役時代、私の勤める会社は南米からデッキ材として

イペを輸入していました。

当時は、

まさか自分の庭でそのイペが花を咲かせる日が来るとは

思ってもいませんでした。

もう何年も花は咲きますが、幹は一向に太りません(^^♪。

 When I was still working, the company imported ipe from South America to use as decking material.

I never dreamed that someday an ipe tree would be blooming

right here in my own garden.

Even after all these years, the trunk has hardly grown any thicker.
